Hi - I’m Lena!

Design thinker. Fast sketcher. Creative problem-solver.

I’m an industrial designer with 9 years of experience—5.5 of those spent at Target Corporate—developing a wide range of products and experiences, from immersive retail spaces to detailed tabletop designs. My strength lies in balancing creativity with strategy, and turning ideas into clear, functional, and manufacturable outcomes.

Sketching is a big part of how I work. It’s not just a tool—it’s how I think. I use sketching to quickly visualize concepts, solve problems on the fly, and communicate ideas clearly with clients, teams, and engineers. I’m also experienced in 3D modeling, which helps me refine those ideas and bring them closer to reality.

Over the years, I’ve worked cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, and engineering teams, and I’m just as comfortable ideating in the early stages as I am fine-tuning details for production. My approach is collaborative, user-centered, and grounded in a deep understanding of both the design process and manufacturing constraints.

Whether I’m designing a customer journey through a physical space or the small details of a product that sits on someone’s dining table, I care about the full experience—from aesthetics and usability to how things get made.

Outside of work, I’m usually still drawing—sketching for fun or playing around with print and pattern design. It’s my creative outlet and a way to explore new styles and ideas beyond day-to-day projects.
